Eva Pin Up and Pin it down...
My GF Andrea loves making cards and loves her Copics. She is such an inspiration! She really however, knows how to hook a girl on product! She got me hooked on Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Copics. I have not taken any Copic lessons. I've watched Andrea's tutorials and read a book. But decided to give it a try with this weeks challenge which was to use pins. I love a challenge and really need to get my Christmas cards out and wanted to try something fun! I used kraft cardstock, red cardstock, BoBunny paper, glimmer buttons, flowers from... (it will come to me) and pins from my stash or more than likely something I received from Michelle or SGD kit. I can't tell you what colors I used (I'll get better I promise) but right now just trying to practice! But I had soo much fun with this girl!
Sisters & Scrap That

Friday I had a great surprise when I opened my door! There was my October Scrap that Kit! So I grabbed my kit and off to work I went. Once at work I think I showed everyone my kit! Today I finally got some time to play and decided to create this page. These pictures are taken of my sister Michelle and I when we were kids. I love all the yummy paper included in the kit and decided to do some stamping and distressing adding Prima flowers and bling! I loved all the soft colors of this kit.
Once Upon a Sketch
One of my biggest issues is journaling. My intentions are always well and good...but I get so wrapped up in the creative process that sometimes I forget to journal. Recently I've been creating peek a boo journaling or adding tags. However, I Love the concept of Once Upon a Sketch as it really does force me to journal. The sketch this week (as always) is amazing and the minute I saw it I knew what I wanted to do! Journalling Criteria: This time you need to journal at least 2 SENTENCES on WHEN you started scrapping and WHY?Although I seem to always find inspiration from my beautiful children it was because of my husband that I started scrapbooking and simply put it was because I wanted to record our life together. My first page was of us back in 2006 but I just couldn't get into it ...until 2009 after I had been blessed with children.
For this page I did some stamping using a Kaiser stamp, Prima flowers and bling. Pion paper and various cardstock.

The Glory of Autumn & Creative Scrappers #179
This past Saturday I got to spend the day with my favorite crafty ladies! If you ever need a great day away to get those creative juices going...head to SGD! I live for the 12 hour crop! First and foremost because the ladies are fabulous but moreover those creative juices just seem to flow. the above page was based on the Creative Scrappers Sketch 179
Now to demonstrate how excited I was for this day, I normally spend days putting paper and pictures together. Well I was so excited Saturday morning I left that box with at home. For me it is a 40 minute drive to the store! So Thankfully I always keep extra pictures in my bag and Lori and Sheila let me play with the yummy yummy November Kit!
These pictures are of my sister and I back in 1984!
Thank you for stopping by!
