Practical Scrappers - Life is good

Although I did not make it further than the 2nd round I had prepared this sketch just in case I made it to the next round. I used Echo Park paper. Inking my edges, making flowers with my CTMH cartridge. Adding Pebbles embellishments and pieces here and there from my stash.

Yes I cheated!!!!

Okay, Okay...I cheated!! I know! I know! I cheated on myself with my own resolution. I said I would use my scraps first before digging into my paper stash. But I couldn't help it! Plus I did use a few pieces from my stash on my page!!!

It all started a couple of days ago when I put my New Years resolution into place. I cleaned up my scrap area, sorted all my papers by manufacture. organized my scraps, placed everything nicely. Then realized I was a paper hoarder. Yep. I always thought that I didn't have that much....ahhhh but..... then when putting it all together discovered this was my cardstock stash.
Then I sorted through the rest of my papers and found that this was my patterned paper stash....{gulp}You know when your husband sees these stacks on the table...it is so hard to say or dream of saying "I really need that new paper line!!!"  So I made the resolution that I would use my scraps and deplete my stock... I am not going to dare show you my two boxes of scraps. Which led to another big wow. this was my BoBunny stash...
Well this is kinda my BoBunny stash I also found not pictured...two {all un-opened} packs of their Forever Fall Collection, and Gabrielle, Timepiece, Enchanted, Et Cetera, Garden Girl, Welcome Home, Zoology, Vicki B, Midnight Frost and a Cambridge pack too.... ! Yes you have read right! So now you see my need to use or go through some of my paper.  Anyways, I was company coding my papers and realized that some paper companies that I didn't think I was a big fan of...I guess I am because I have tones of their paper. And well I discovered that I am a big fan of Echo Park! Well then I came upon the Practical Scrappers Sketch site and saw this sketch...and decided to play along with this sketch. Plus I still had not scrapped our family pictures taken by Barb Weir Photography. We had a great time with Barb and Cherie.

Practical Scrappers

I did lots of distressing and tried to stay true to the natural look of the paper. So I didn't ink. Loving all the layers.

Cut up the tickets in half and used them for a border. Loved the title so I just kept the Title of the page and worked around it.
Love my layers! And added a few pieces here and there of my stash. Such as buttons, bling and misc pieces I had.

Thank you for visiting! Have a great night! or Morning!
