My favorite things! Us.

Are you tired of seeing wedding pictures yet??? Can't help it! With the Fancy Pants challenge at Let's Scrap, I am getting most of my wedding album done!!!! Whooo Hooo! So far this is my favorite page! I was inspired by Cheri's sketch 2010NSD#1. I tried to use as many of my scraps as possible!!! Again using Fancy Pants Happy Together paper, Tim Holtz distress ink, Fiskar's lace punch, glue dots, 3M glue, FP stickers, flock and letters (all from the Happy Together collection). In the Let's Scrap gallery a fellow scrapper Richard had used a double picture which was the inspiration for this idea!

God I had fun making this page :)

Precious Girl

I am very lucky to have the sister that I do! She is the best aunt my kids could ask for. She took Sophie, to meet  the Disney Princesses! Sophie had a ball. Also my sister is the one that bought me these beautiful Dancing Girl papers!

Again with keeping with the Fancy Pants challenge, for this layout I used a variety of papers from the Fancy Pants Dancing Girl line. The inspiration is from Cheri's sketch 5-5-10 from Let's Scrap and challenge 105 which was to use ribbon in our layout! I used Cat's Eye ink, misc buttons, Forever in Time bling and ribbons, tattered angel glimmer mist and misc letters from various packs of words.

My journaling reads: "Thanks to ma tante Mimi, Sophie got to meet a princess! Sophie had her face painted like a lion."

Together

Yep still working on our wedding album. But thanks to the challenge at Let's Scrap and the Fancy Pants challenge, my wedding album is coming along!

For this wedding page I decided to use Cheri's sketch LS130 December 9, the left side. I am not normally a multi page picture kind of girl but this month is all about the challenges. So I combined two Fancy Pants line Road Show with the Happy Together Flock. Used Happy Together rub ons, Forever in Time Bling, 3M Glue, Tim Holtz distress ink and my Fiskar's Lace Punch.

Thank you for stopping by :)  More Fancy Pants to come!

Sweet

One of my fondest memories as a child was getting my first Cabbage Patch Doll! My uncle Hubie had sent each my sister and I one! I still have my doll to this day! My daughter Sophie now plays with her. Such wonderful memories.

My page is based from Cheri's Let's Scrap Sketch 4-7-10. Again, trying to win me some Fancy Pants paper so I am participating in the current challenge to scrap a page using mostly Fancy Pants! Therefore, decided to use the Dancing girl line to highlight this very girly moment between my sister and I. I also used Foverever in Time bling and bits of ribbon, Fiskar's scissors and 3M Glue

The journaling reads: "Great day for the Sylvester sisters. We got our first Cabbage Patch dolls from Uncle Hubie. My daughter Sophie now has this doll!

Fancy Pants So Happy Together!

Dave and I have been married for five years and I am only now getting to our wedding album. Why?!!? You might ask? Well I don't like the pictures. Don't get me wrong there are some of them, (obviously the one's I'm using are nice) but it is a far cry from what I requested and from the list provided to the photographer. So I work with what I can. Right now I am loving the vintage, shabby chic style and trying to wrap my head about how to master it. But in the meantime, it is the ongoing theme to my wedding album. Now with this said I have to give a big shout out to Let's Scrap! I discovered the site earlier in the week and since then I can't get enough of it! Sketches are provided and only those pages created based on that sketch are permitted in the gallery. Easy right?!!? Well this weeks challenge, create a page based on any sketch in the forum with mostly Fancy Pants product and the winner receives their new collection! Well guess what not only am I challenged to try this but I picked Fancy Pants "Happy Together" paper pack as the theme for my wedding album months back! So baby do I have pages that will qualify! and my wedding album will actually get done!!! Whooo Hooo! Last night I completed four pages! Two double page sets, here they are!

I used co-ordination cream paper for my back drop. The letters are from a scrapibility set that I inked and died. My favorite butterfly punch from Martha Stewart and my attempt at adding bling. I also used Viva Decor liquid pearl... the rest is all fancy pants!

I don't think I have ever scrapped so many wedding pictures in one night!
For this layout I used Colorbox card stock, the same letters as above and my butterfly punch.

 Thanks for stopping by!

Friends

this was also my first time trying to journal. a few simple lines but it is a start. I'm still on my paper tearing/burnt look which will be a theme. Now that I am typing about this I realize how dark my picture is. but I did emboss script on the side of the page. I will work on getting a better picture!
After five years of marriage I am still trying to get my wedding album done! Don't get me wrong beautiful wedding, loving family and friends but the pictures still make me so mad. I decided on Fancy Pants So Happy Together paper for the theme of my album. Which this would be a first for me making a whole book using only one paper collection. I think that is why it is taking me sooo long! Well off to decide on what picture I will do next!
