Hello!
Today I am sharing an 8x10 canvas I created for the Creative Embellishment January Challenge. Also a big Thank you to Barb & Cherie from Barb Weir Photography for another set of beautiful family pictures
This month the challenge was to be inspired by the picture below and use some sort of texture paste/medium on the project such as gesso, modeling paste, opaque or pumice etc. Anything that will give a little texture.
I loved the woodland rustic look of the picture. I love the blue, browns with a hint of burgundy. Perfect for my picture.
Here are the mediums used
Pro-Art - Premium Gesso Canvas Primer |
Prima - Finnabair Art Basics - Modeling Paste Opaque |
Faber-Castell - Glass Bead Glitter Gel Jar |
I used the Page corners from Creative Embellishments.
and cut a mini ornate frame in 1/2.
Here are more close ups of the canvas
Ohhh I love it, this is such a pretty photo :) thank you for sharing your creative process xxx
