This month's challenge/theme at Once Upon a Sketch is New year's Eve. I flipped the sketch to the side.
And this New Years Eve meant that my baby Charlie was now 16 months old. He is growing so fast. And one of my many New years resolution was to complete more journaling. Up till he was 9 months I kept a monthly journal of all my kids and what they were doing and little stories...then I stopped... I was just busy.
I also made myself a promise to journal more on my pages. Although I have been told that I have teacher hand writing I don't like the way it looks on my pages. So... the resolution: complete more hidden journaling. Such as the tag I have tucked on the top left hand corner of the photo.
Another resolution is to use up my current stash of paper. This including scraps and current stock. I love BoBunny so much that when they release a new line I buy two packs. Seriously, yes I do this! The plan was to keep a pack so that when my craft reached the level that I wanted it to be I would use it. Now I've realized that my craft is ever changing...so I will never reach that perfect craft spot. So live for now. I cracked open last years Bobunny winter paper!! Which complimented the picture taken by Barb Weir.
I am also looking to work on various techniques such a layering and fussy cutting. I had just finished a layout for a challenge at Stuck on You Sketch for die cutting snowflakes and I loved how it turned out on that page so I tried my hand again! I love my CTMH cricut cartridge.
